Our History

Our story began in 1963, when Cecil R. "Jake" Jacobs, our founder, completed his tour of duty in Vietnam. Upon his return, Jake joined Reynolds Metals Company as a designer and eventually became Vice President of the Architectural Building Products Division, where he oversaw the development of energy-conserving building products. In 1986, Jake retired from Reynolds and founded Barron & Jacobs, along with his family, to start a full-service design-build company.
