Our History

K T Highland, Inc. was founded in April 1996 by Tom Buchen, who saw an opportunity to provide complete kitchen and bath remodeling services to homeowners in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. With a background in new home construction, commercial construction, and remodeling, Tom had the skills and experience necessary to build a successful remodeling company.

Today, K T Highland, Inc. is a full-service home remodeling company specializing in kitchen redesign and bathroom renovations, custom cabinetry in other rooms, and custom closets. Our team of experts, led by Tom and his wife, Jean Buchen, are dedicated to delivering exceptional results that exceed our clients' expectations.

Meet the Team

Tom Buchen - General Manager

Tom oversees construction and installation at K T Highland, Inc. With vast construction experience, including new home construction, commercial construction, and remodeling, Tom has the skills and knowledge necessary to manage even the most complex remodeling projects.

Jean Buchen - Designer

Jean Buchen is responsible for designing and selling projects for K T Highland, Inc. She has a degree in interior design and is a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). With over eight years of experience designing cabinets for kitchens, libraries, bathrooms, home offices, and laundry rooms, Jean has the expertise and creativity necessary to bring your remodeling vision to life.

Andrea Foard - Project Manager

Andrea Foard came to K T Highland, Inc. from Prevo Cabinets in August 2003. She has a degree in international business with minors in political science and economics, and is a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, Certified Living in Place Professional, and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. With over 15 years of experience in the remodeling industry, Andrea has the skills and knowledge necessary to manage your remodeling project from start to finish.
