Our History
Over the years, we have expanded from a single lumber yard to a three-location outfit, each specializing in a different home improvement segment. Our first location, Hobart Lumber, has been at the same site since 1915, providing expert advice and quality products to the community. In 1991, we opened our second location, Hobart Ace Hardware, which re-opened under the Ace Hardware name in 2016. Our third location, Cabinet Express, offers a wide range of cabinets and flooring solutions. Despite our growth, we remain committed to our core values of quality, service, and community involvement.
Our Services
At Hobart Lumber Company, we offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our customers. Our lumber yard provides expert advice and quality products for construction projects of all sizes, from home renovations to large commercial developments. Our hardware store, Hobart Ace Hardware, offers a variety of products and services, including key cutting, re-keying locks, screen repair, pipe cutting and threading, custom paint mixing, glass and Plexi glass cutting, and UPS shipping and drop off. Our cabinet location, Cabinet Express, provides a wide range of cabinets and flooring solutions, designed to fit your unique needs and style.
